Synology® DS509+ Honored Editor's Choice Awards by Xbitlabs.com
Taipei, Taiwan—August 31, 2009—Synology® Disk Station DS509+ received the "EDITOR'S CHOICE" award from Xbitlabs.com, U.S.A. The DS509+ was commented as "one of the best SOHO-class Network Attached Storage devices available today."
Synology DS509+ delivers the best performance in Synology's 2009 product portfolio. Designed with power-saving in mind, the DS509+ provides capability of multi-tasks at home and office environment, and is competent with a PC server in performance in the meantime. "Deservedly considered a leader of the Network Attached Storage market, Synology offers top-quality, high-performance and functional products," Mr. Huge Barros, the editor conducting this review said. "The maximum read and write speeds are 79MBps and 84MBps. The DS509+ is somewhat better than the Atom-based NAS we have tested earlier."
