I already contacted your customer service several months ago for a question about my DS209 and I just came back to you about a new inquiry about the maximum hard drive capacity my DiskStation can support.
I would like to thank you a lot for your reply and I cogratulate you for the fast and accurate answer. I would also like to thank you for having a French speaking team to answer French customers.

I'm using several NAS (total of 10) of different brands. Now I'm looking for extending my small NAS-farm and at the end I decided to buy a Synology again (DS1512+). The reason is, Synology is by far the only company I really trust, you offer your latest firmware even for your older products! That is great and gives me (and all other customers) the feeling to buy a realiable product.

I just want to say I'am verry happy with my DS209. It's well built, quiet, energy efficient and good looking. I have been using this for 2 years now and I am impressed with the stability and its possibilities. I'am not an expert so things take some time to discover. The add ons and support are impressive. Thank you and keep up the good work!

I would like to say thank you for your great products.
I've owned and still use a DiskStation DS207+ and have been quite happy with it. I've just upgraded to a DS213+. Not only the operating system, DSM, is perfectly easy to setup and manage but also the hardware has everything I need. Aside from the high performance, the system hibernation is also a feature that impresses me. Now the DiskStation runs 24/7.

I have a Synology DS411j. A few days ago one of my hard disk experienced a failure. Thanks for SHR (Synology Hybrid RAID), there was no loss of data.
SHR was my main argument of purchase and I do not regret it (I have one 1TB and two 2TB HDD). I also love it for the possibility to gradually increase the capacity of the RAID by changing a hard drive one by one.
Also, I am perfectly satisfied with your iPhone and iPad applications.

It’s not easy to get me to write to a company about a product I've bought and praise them. In fact, I've actually never done this before until now. I've been using my DiskStation DS509+ for nearly 3 years and except for a round of very quick, friendly, and professional support contact in the beginning, it is still working perfectly well (nowadays, CPU is getting a bit low for all those apps I have installed).
I'm especially impressed with all the fantastic updates and improvements you have provided over the years (and always free of charge!). I've never used or bought a product that has been maintained and cared for by its company for so long. I applaud you!
The reason why I decided to write now is your new DS video app. I was very impressed by it. It still needs some improving, but I have tried other products that try to do the same (cataloging of movies etc.) but they never worked very well. DS video is already amazing!
The coolest part is definitely that it's open source, I've tweaked some awesome apps into my DS that made my life a lot easier. I love that! Unfortunately, that is also the reason, why I've almost used up my 5TB of disk space (I'm already planning the migration on 15 or 20 TB).
Well, all I have left to say is, thank you very, very much for your awesome product, support and work!
I would like to thank your Support Team, especially Persey who was very professional in troubleshooting my issues and also for the very good responsiveness in answering my e-mails (27 e-mails exchanged in less than 48 hours).
I would like also to thank the whole Synology company which provides very good products and apps and an excellent customer service.
Synology never ceases to amaze me, as per a previous email I sent, I stupidly had a senior moment and deleted a main folder which coupled with a power outage caused the main drive to not boot up, resulting in the loss of a huge amount of data accumulated over many years.
This was a MAJOR Catastrophe , however I submitted a support ticket and then called your office in Taiwan and spoke to Antoine. He was extremely professional and proceeded to guide me to Re-Setup my NAS, re-install the DSM OS and then set up remote access following which he set in motion the recovery of my data from Disk 2 onto the newly setup Disk 1.
A GREAT result and my compliments to a very professional and customer focused team.

We have been using your product, RS810+, for some weeks now and we are simply excited. We back up our Oracle-database via rsync protocol from a Linux-Server to the Synology NAS drive. Your product takes a quarter of the time to transfer the same amounts of data compared to an old competitive product in the same price range. We were able to master the configuration without any problem. Every function you need is just in place for professional use.
